Sam Herzog, Sport Psychology
Sam has a passion for helping athletes play at their highest level and enjoy their sports as much as possible. Through mental skills training, Sam equips his clients with techniques for increasing confidence, managing competitive stress, controlling focus, and having more fun. He also prioritizes having an appropriate view of sports to increase enjoyment and prevent burnout.
Sam is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. He received his Master of Science in sport and exercise psychology from Northern Illinois University, and his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Trinity Christian College. While at Trinity, he played baseball for four years and also minored in Theology. In addition to individual sports counseling, he also serves as the mental performance coach with the softball team at Cornerstone University.
As an avid golfer, Sam also enjoys giving lessons at Kris Tees driving range. He formerly taught as a certified personal coach with GOLFTEC in Mequon, Wisconsin.
